Sytuacja nie(do)słyszących studentów Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, jako wymiar wsparcia i autonomii

Abstract

Deaf and hearing impaired students are the most numerous group of people with disability, studying at all levels and all specialities at the AMU. The quality of support provided to them in this matter appears to be, despite the efforts of the University authorities, still not enough. This can be seen in both the results of an audit, and studies realised on individual faculties. One of such faculties is the Faculty of Educational Sciences, a place most commonly picked by people with hearing impediment. Despite their preferences, the students themselves point to the barriers in the learning process, as well as the important, in their opinion, required support fields, which is the subject of the study described in this work.
