Abstract

Guaranteeing security is the overriding goal of the state. Military threats and threats of war are the most serious challenges to the nation’s defense. The main question of the article concerned the extent to which military threats and threats of war are influencing economic security? The case study used in the article is the example of the armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in 2014. The hypothesis stated that according to the theory of economic liberalism, Russia and Ukraine are losing in unsettled conflict and the occurrence of a military threat.
