The outcomes of the international economic crisis that struck financial and banking markets between 2007 and 2009 had a direct impact on economic and foreign policies realized by individual nations affected by the crisis. The predominant goal of this paper is to showcase the development of rapidly intensifying economic cooperation between Hungary and Turkey after 2010, as well as to highlight its impact on the energy security of Hungary.
