Zagrożenia internetowe w świadomości młodzieży

Abstract

Nowadays Internet is a part of young people’s lives, in some cases a very important part. Beside endless possibilities it creates, it has also some dark side. There are numerous threats with which we encounter as users of the network. This is especially true for young people. In this paper I try to present the characteristics of young Internet users, then I discuss the potential dangers of virtual world and ways of dealing with them. Finally, I describe results of my research on the subject, specifically for junior high school students’ awareness of the risk, their experiences, opinions about the dangers of the Internet and their parents’ control (or lack of it).
