E-learning – nauczanie na odległość – platforma wiedzy o bezpieczeństwie narodowym i publicznym

Abstract

In these days learning about national and public security is not only a fashion, but also an urgent need, or even a necessity. It can be achieved with the help of e-learning, which combines traditional means of teaching and cutting-edge technology. This form of training is the newest solution, that can be used at all stages of teaching, ranging from planning and creating the training, to implemenation, distribution and evaluation. It allows a cooperation between participants of the training who could be separated by a room, a building, a city, a country or even a continent. Creating, distributing and providing knowledge for particular organization, school, office, institution, including police, border guard, fire brigade, municipal police and army, gives economic and organizational benefits in field of national and public security. E-learning can be implemented at all levels (strategic, operational and tactical), in all fields of knowledge connected with national and public security including certain services, fields and businesses (logistics, human resources, finances, etc.). Using this solution to prepare functionaries, soldiers, employees for critical situations will create a new quality of cooperation, which could save lives on more than one occasion. E-learning is also carried out with good results at the universities in many countries. Experience shows that for a successful introduction of e-learning one needs to be prepared not only on technical level, but also on mental one.
