dc.description.abstractThe article presents the results of the tests describing changes in a knowledge structure of six-year-old children. The changes took place after introducing educational strategy of the first aid. The goal of this strategy was to give young children the knowledge and pattern of behaving in case of accidents. The strategy proves that even very young children may be able to gain certain abilities connected with the first aid. But it is not enough to make them remember the most important phone numbers. The children must be equipped in useful tools which will help them act in case of an accident.en
