A number of literature data provide information on possibility of formation the amorphous
matrix composites. Such composites can be produced alternatively, by introducing the
particles prior to casting, or by “in situ” formation of the crystalline phase. The latter aim can
be carried out by crystallization of the amorphous matrix or the formation of the crystalline
phase during casting. Production of the composite directly from the liquid state, using
miscibility gap, presents a new possibility and is justified as regards energy saving because
no additional heat treatment to produce the fine crystalline phase is necessary. On the other
hand, $Fe-Cu-P$, $Fe-Cu-Si$, $Fe-Cu-B$ systems have a miscibility gap in the liquid phase, therefore
we considered the $Fe-Cu-Ni-P-based$ alloys for a series of microstructural experiments. The
work presents exemplary microstructures revealed in such alloys. There are the two essential
features enabling formation of the amorphous-based composites wih miscibility. The first is
the presence of a large volume fraction of the eutectic microstructures and the second one is
surface-fractal microstructure typical for the systems with tendency for demixing of liquids.
