dc.description.abstract | The article presents an overview of various phenomena in the wear of materials, particularly
of cutting edges. The procedure for determining the wear during sliding using a Pin-on-
-Disk and Ball-on-Disk apparatus was presented. The coefficient of friction measurements
in contact with a steel ball was determined for three $Si_3N_4$ base compacts: a commercial one
without solid lubricants, with 0.5 wt% and 1 wt% hBN solid lubricant participation. | en |
