Abstract

The paper presents the essential aspects of Digital Signal Processing teaching. Effective teaching requires excellent books explaining basic issues, while practical teaching can be performed using general-purpose computers. The first practical approach requires technical computing language MATLAB. The second approach relies on the interactive, virtual DSP laboratory “J-DSP,” which allows e-learning.
