Polityka historyczna w stosunkach polsko-węgierskich po 1989 roku

Abstract

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie obrazu polityki historycznej w stosunkach polsko-węgierskich po 1989 r. w oczach osób związanych z polityką historyczną Polski i Węgier w tym polityków, dyplomatów i działaczy kultury wysokiego szczebla. Pytania badawcze dotyczą: celów polityki historycznej Polski i Węgier; podobieństw i różnic w prowadzeniu polityki historycznej Polski i Węgier; specyfiki trwałości silnego pielęgnowania wspólnej historii obydwu krajów; znaczenia historii Polski i Węgier w kontekście działań politycznych; upamiętniania wspólnej historii Polski i Węgier; relacji między partią rządzącą a polityką historyczną prowadzoną w Polsce i na Węgrzech; relacji pomiędzy polityką historyczną a stosunkami polsko-węgierskimi; intensywności prowadzenia wspólnej polityki historycznej Polski i Węgier przed i po 1989 roku; czynników utrudniających upamiętnianie polsko-węgierskiej historii; sukcesów w polsko-węgierskiej polityce historycznej. Przeprowadzone badania mają charakter jakościowy skoncentrowany na opisie, zrozumieniu i wyjaśnieniu zagadnień związanych z polityką historyczną w stosunkach polsko-węgierskich. W badaniu zastosowano metodę wywiadu pogłębionego, nieskategoryzowanego oraz metodę analizy dokumentów. Badania właściwe zostały przeprowadzone na grupie badawczej, która została dobrana w sposób celowy. Badaniem objęto 8 respondentów, który z w przeszłości lub obecnie w życiu zawodowym zajmują sie stosunkami polsko-węgierskimi. Praca doktorska składa się z trzech części. Pierwsza przedstawia teoretyczne przesłanki i historyczne podstawy problematyki badawczej. Druga część pracy ma charakter analizy materiału badawczego, zawiera podsumowanie i wnioski z badań.

The aim of this paper is to present the image of historical policy in Polish-Hungarian relations after 1989 as seen by those involved in Polish and Hungarian historical policy including politicians, diplomats and high-level cultural activists. The research questions concern: the aims of Polish and Hungarian historical policy; similarities and differences in the conduct of Polish and Hungarian historical policy; the specificity of the permanence of a strong nurturing of the common history of the two countries; the importance Polish and Hungarian history in the context of political action; the commemoration of common history of Poland and Hungary; the relationship between the ruling party and the historical policy pursued in Poland and Hungary; the relationship between historical policy and Polish-Hungarian relations; the intensity of Poland's and Hungary's joint historical policy before and after 1989; factors hindering the commemoration of Polish-Hungarian history; successes in Polish-Hungarian historical policy. The research conducted is qualitative nature focused on describing, understanding and explaining the issues related to historical policy in Polish-Hungarian relations. The study used an in-depth, non-categorised interview method a document analysis method. The research proper was conducted on a research group, which was selected in a purposive manner. The study included 8 respondents who have dealt with Polish-Hungarian relations in the past or currently in their professional life. The dissertation consists of three parts. The first presents the theoretical rationale and historical background of the research problem. The second part of the dissertation is methodological nature and the last part is a presentation of the results of the analysis of the research material and includes a summary and conclusions of the research.
