The subject of this article is the acquisition of speech in the distorted discourse compared to the most important ontolinguistic models. The introduction of the paper explains the notions of speech, discourse and distorted discourse. Then it describes the following models of language acquisition: nativist, constructivist (cognitive and interactionist) and the integrating approach. The next part of the article is devoted to the acquisition of speech in the distorted discourse. It contains the characteristics of the acquisition of speech by people with underdeveloped perceptual efficiencies and by people with underdeveloped realization efficiencies. The starting point of the author’s deliberations on this problem was S. Grabias’ typology of speech disorders.en
