Wzmacnianie wschodniej flanki NATO jako element polityki bezpieczeństwa Polski w latach 2014–2024

Abstract

Rozprawa doktorska podejmuje temat wzmacniania wschodniej flanki NATO jako elementu bezpieczeństwa Polski w latach 2014–2024. Wybór ten jest podyktowany dynamicznie zmieniającą się sytuacją polityczno-militarną w regionie Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej, dotykającą w bezpośredni sposób także Polski. Głównym celem pracy uczyniono wskazanie miejsca i roli procesu wzmacniania wschodniej flanki NATO w polityce bezpieczeństwa Polski w latach 2014–2024. Aby zrealizować niniejszy cel główny, przyjęto kilka celów szczegółowych. Dysertacja opiera się na głównej hipotezie badawczej zakładającej, że wzmacnianie wschodniej flanki NATO (poprzez rozbudowę zdolności obronnych i odstraszających oraz zintensyfikowaną współpracę polityczno-militarną państw regionu) było jednym z najważniejszych elementów w polityce bezpieczeństwa Polski w latach 2014–2024.

This doctoral thesis focuses on the topic of strengthening NATO's eastern flank as a component of Poland's security in the years 2014-2024. The choice of the dissertation topic is dictated by the dynamically changing political and military situation in Central and Eastern Europe, which directly affects Poland. The main objective of the dissertation is to identify the place and role of the process of strengthening NATO's eastern flank in Poland's security policy in the years 2014-2024. To achieve this main objective, several specific objectives were adopted. The dissertation is based on the main research hypothesis, which assumes that strengthening NATO's eastern flank (through the expansion of defense and deterrence capabilities and intensified political and military cooperation among the region's states) was one of the most important elements of Poland's security policy in 2014-2024.
