| dc.description.abstract | The word “home” usually brings to mind a residential building or a group of people
related to each other, living in the same place. It is well known how important is the
family home in everyone’s life. Its importance cannot be overestimated especially
during childhood. So it was in the past, as it is today. The purpose of this paper is to
present a happy childhood of Witold Adam Czartoryski (1822-1865), the firstborn
son of Prince Adam Jerzy Czartoryski and Princess Anna Sapieha Czartoryski, spent
both in the country and abroad. But it was always a polish house, which he will remind
in difficult times of the forced emigration. | en |
