Desacralisation in Peoples Poland referred to the objects in the public space. It rested
on delimiting the construction of new religious infrastructure, the promotion of
the secular system of values, creating of the attitudes and behaviours desired by the
communists. The manifestation of the religious practice was restricted, tradition
was questioned and the customs originating from the Christian religion were depreciated.
