Analiza Programu „Bezpieczny Kraków”

Abstract

W artykule opisano Program Poprawy Bezpieczeństwa dla Miasta Krakowa „Bezpieczny Kraków”. W kontekście charakterystyki Krakowa jako miasta popularnego turystycznie i gospodarczo przedstawiona została potrzeba utworzenia wyżej wspomnianego programu, jego realizacja oraz konieczność jego kontynuacji. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie kwestii bezpieczeństwa miasta Krakowa. Na podstawie wielu statystyk ukazano, w jakim zakresie Program „Bezpieczny Kraków” przyczynił się do poprawy bezpieczeństwa, przedstawiono również próby modyfikacji programu, które coraz częściej wykorzystywane są przez polityków jako narzędzie do walki politycznej. Autor dokonał również oceny programu oraz przewiduje możliwe scenariusze związane z jego przyszłością.

This article describes the Program for Safety Improvement of the City of Cracow entitled the “Safe Cracow”. In the context of the description of Cracow as a city that is attractive both in tourism and economy terms, the article presents the necessity to adopt the abovementioned program, its realization and the need to continue it in the future. Its origins are also elaborated on herein. The aim of this article is to touch upon the issue of the safety of the city of Cracow. Based on gathered statistical data, the article is going to familiarize the reader with the extent to which the “Safe Cracow” program has increased the overall safety of the city. Furthermore, attempts to modify the program and exploit it as a means of political influence are also elaborated on in the paper. The author also attempts to assess the efficiency of the program and makes forecasts about its future.
