The present investigation was carried out to determine the influence of the different contents of zirconium and small boron addition on the microstructure and mechanical characteristic of high temperature deformation on Ni-Al-Zr-B alloys. The compressive ductility of Ni3Al-Zr-B alloys have been studied in a temperature range of 293-1073 K with initial strain rate 1,8x10(-4)s(-1).
The sequence of structural changes have been correlated with mechanical characteristics of high temperature deformation process, determined in uniaxial compression tests. It has been determined, that the improvement of mechanical properties was connected with the content of zirconium, the purity of the component and witch the elimination of internal microcraks.
