Abstract

The realisation of the right to education for people with disabilities requires such preparation of the teachers-special pedagogues, as to be able to fulfil the special developmental and educational needs. Education on the first and second degree studies, both teacher and nonteacher specialisation, and the postgraduate studies includes the preparation to fulfil the duties of the teacher-special pedagogue, therapist and educator professions within the range adjusted to the students' disability. The realisation of the didactic tasks connected to the substantive and methodical preparation of students to work with people with disabilities is conducted in the form of lectures, conservatory exercises and practical exercises, thanks to which it is possible to strongly connect the theory and practice of pedagogy, and the qualified scientific and didactic staff guarantees high quality of training.
