Abstract

W rozprawie doktorskiej na temat Twórczość prozatorska Ewy Nowackiej - próba monografii ukazano najbardziej charakterystyczne cechy prozy fabularnej pisarki. W części wprowadzającej do tematu znalazł się wstęp oraz rozdział I obejmujący życie i zarys twórczości Nowackiej. Rozdział II Historia w powieściach Ewy Nowackiej składa się z pięciu podrozdziałów i ukazuje powieści historyczne adresowane do dorosłych i młodzieży. W podrozdziałach zwrócono uwagę na: fakty historyczne, ujęcia prezentujące walor historiozoficzny, modele historyczne, narrację, kompozycję, sposób kształtowania materiału literackiego, związki między kompozycją dzieła a sposobem widzenia historii i budowaniem sensów historiozoficznych, konstruowanie siatki temporalnej. W rozdziale III zaprezentowano prozę psychologiczno-obyczajową dla młodzieży, z uwzględnieniem spraw współtworzących obyczajowość młodych pokoleń (problemy adolescencji, rola miłości, relacje z rówieśnikami i dorosłymi). Rozdział IV obejmuje powieści społeczno-obyczajowe dla dorosłych, na prezentowaną problematykę nakładają się opinie krytyków. Rozważania zamyka podsumowanie.

The PhD thesi displays the most characteristic features of the literary fiction of the writer. The introduction contains the preface as well as Chapter I covering the life and literary output of Ewa Nowacka. Chapter II raises the curtain on historical novels addressed to adults and adolescents. In the subchapters a special attention is paid to historic facts and philosophical values. Historic models, narration and composition are exposed to view, here and the author brings to the public the connections between the construction of Nowacka’s works and the way of perceiving history together with shaping historical and philosophical meanings.

Chapter III is devoted to psychological prose for the young generation and it emphasizes issues contributing to their behavioural as well as moral patterns, especially the problems of adolescence, the role of love, relationships with the peer groups and adults.

Chapter IV comprises adult-oriented novels whose themes are deeply rooted in the social background and are related to the aforementioned problems. They constantly overlap with opinions of the critics.
