Abstract

The article is brief review of recent opinions concerning the problem of overpopulation, presented on the background of the development of the existing world wide demographic situations the natural population increase, "demographic explosion" after the II World War, the soils reserves; maintenance possibilities. Perspectives of the problem future possible solutions are also discussed.
