Kilka uwag o strukturze szkolnictwa Krakowa i jego zasięgu wpływów

Abstract

An attempt is made in the present work of defining the structure and the compass of influence of the Cracov school system: conclusions are drawn on the ground of an inquiry opened by the Cracow District Educational Board. The questiaries were distributed amond pupils of 77 secondary schools, general educational and professional, tatalling 25,503 young girls and boys according to the state on 31.XII.1961. An analysis showed that the prevailing type of Cracow schools were of professional type attended by 63% of the general number of studying youth 71,5% of the number were Cracow residents, the remaining - Cracow district (21,9%) and 6,6% other districts dwellers. From among commuters to Cracow schools only 8% - 9% studied in general educational schools, all others attended professional schools of various types. The intensity of school pupils commutation to Cracow schools was highly diversified from the spacial point of view, depending on communication facilities, distance and other geographic, economic, and social factors.
