Abstract
The author joins the polemics about Gorky’s drama At the Bottom. She represents her own interpretation of the play. Comparing Luka’s and other protagonists’ declarations with the writer’s opinions concerning the play she tries to reconstruct Gorky’s conception of Luka’s personality.
