Stan badań nad związkami frazeologicznymi we współczesnym językoznawstwie radzieckim

Abstract

The author discusses first the problem of the confines of a phraseological expression in Polish linguistics and compares it with the views of Russian linguists. Next she tries to answer the question: who should be considered creator of the Russian phraseological studies. This part of the paper comprises also a historical survey of the formation of views upon phraseology, from Lomonosov to our times. Special attention is given to the discussion of contemporary linguists’ opinions. The paper ends up with a table which presents a concise analysis of the Soviet linguists’ views on phraseology.
