Badania monograficzne w twórczości Władysława Grabskiego

Abstract

The paper is an attempt to reconstruct the concept of the sociology of the village as formed by Władysław Grabski. In his analytical discussion the author makes use of notions appropriate for a systematic approach in sociology, e.g. the notions of a system, element of a system, relation, generalization, relativization. Applying these cathegories the author describes Władysław Grabski’s achievements in the field of sociology. The last section of the paper brings an analytical comparison of Grabski's concepts with the present state of monographic studies of the village in Poland.
