Proza Tadeusza Różewicza

Abstract

Tematem pracy jest proza Tadeusza Różewicza, a więc teksty powstałe głównie w drugiej połowie XX wieku. Autor badań odwołuje się jednak również do poezji i dramatów Różewicza, śledząc przenikanie się w jego twórczości rozmaitych tematów, wątków, motywów. Podejmuje również problem zacierania przez artystę różnic rodzajowych i gatunkowych oraz naruszanie przez niego tradycyjnie przyjmowanych norm literackości.

W pracy dominuje zasadniczo perspektywa chronologiczna, bogato eksploatowany jest kontekst biograficzno-historyczny. Pojawiają się także jednak inne reguły systematyzujące, takie jak na przykład ogniska tematyczno-problemowe, charakterystyczny typ kreacji głównej postaci czy też specyficzne właściwości struktury tekstów (brulionowość zapisków autotematycznych, sylwiczność poszczególnych zbiorów lub też niejednoznaczne relacje między materiałem dokumentalnym a lirycznym portretem czy deklaracją synowskich uczuć w tomie Matka odchodzi).

The topic of the thesis is the prose of Tadeusz Różewicz, that is the texts which were written mostly in the second half of the 20th century. However, the author of the dissertation also refers to Różewicz's poetry and drama while investigating certain themes, threads and motives that pervade his work. He also tackles the question of the artist crossing the boundaries between literary genres and forms and his violation of traditionally understood norms of "literariness".

The perspective adopted in the thesis is mostly chronological; the author explores the biographical and historical context. However, there also appear other systematising rules, such as e.g. thematic and problematic foci, the characteristic way of the main character's creation or the particular qualities of the texts' structure.
