| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the paper is to present some chosen topographical names within a given region with special respect of their semantics. Material presented in the paper was collected on the basis of cadastral surveys and interviews with older inhabitants of the village and was not described and published before. To topographical names of the Gródek village (i.e. the area that spreads over the North-West part of the Grybów commune of the Nowy Sącz district) belong names of mountains, forests, glades, ravines, meadows, fields as well as names of former plough lands and former farms that in cadastral surveys means not only buildings but also the area surrounding them. | en_EN |
