The studies of spotted salamander were carried out. Persons were catched in 3 separate populations on bordeland of
Western Beskid and Kotlina Sądecka.
Jointly, 113 sexual maturity persons of nominal race of spotted salamander (Linnaeus 1758) — 81 males and 32
females of body length from 13.5 to 21.1 cm. were examined. The aim of studeieds were differences or similarities
in distribution number, combitions and locaton of spotts in indyvidual parts of body in persons derivating from 3
of all examined populations. Insignificant differences occurs in combinations of spotts only and in number of their
occurence in indyvidual parts of body. The analysis showed no differences in spotted of males and females.
