Nazwy wykroczeń w Statutach kapituły norbertańskiej z roku 1340

Abstract

In the paper the author conducts a semantic analysis and discusses structures of names of offences that appeared in the text of Premonstratensian Chapter Statutes from the Year 1340. A general name used to name each offence against the rules of a religious order is the noun występ, występek, and these występy (offences) were divided into lekie (not serious), więcsze, cięsze (more serious) and nawięcsze (the most serious ones). In the text of the relic names of występy (offences) are introduced with a structure Jeśliby X zrobił Y (If X did Y) where X means a nun of crime and Y - a particular activity recognized as discordant with the rules and expressed with a verb or other parts of speech.
