Abstract
A general definition of symmetries of gauge fields is proposed and a method developed for constructing symmetric fields for an arbitrary gauge group. This method was used to find SU(2) (and SU(3)) Yang-Mills fields invariant under the transformation group S0(3) and SU(2) gauge fields with SO(4) symmetry.
