Selected problems of the methodics of measuring the orientation polarization (P[r]) of ceramic ferroelectrics were
discussed on the example of the ceramics PLZT 9/65/35. These ceramics can be easily switched as their coercive
force field in the room temperature is in the boundaries 3 to 4,5 kV.cm[-1] and in the temperature -70°C is not
higher than 14 kV.cm[-1]. The 170-200 μm thick samples were switched in the fields of sinusoidal and triangular
form and constant amplitude of 20 kV.cm[-1]. The considerable influence of the measurement conditions and the
manner of mechanical working of the sample surface on gained results was established.
