On the understanding of geometric transformations by mathematics freshmen

Abstract

Two questions will be discussed in my paper. The first one concerns difficulties the first year university students meet while learning definition of the geometrical transformation. The second question - the incorrect way of searching for the image of a line segment in different transformations by mentioned above groups of students.
