Abstract

In the first part of this paper we show how to determine, using a CASIO graphic calculator, the power of a significance test. The suitable programmes, prepared by the author, are attached in the annex. In the second part we discuss some abilities of the computer programme MATHEMATICA to make graphs of the power functions of significance test.
