J. Chałasiński treats a culture issue in a close connection with a nation that is the highest organized form of a
cultural cooperative. He emphasizes particularly historical continuity of a culture as a basic source of a
nationalization of individual groups of Polish society. Elaborating the issue of cultural integration of a nation
he is very much for not treating a culture and a nation as statical elements that are shaped once in social
mentality. In his opinion cultural cooperative is more stable and more integrating factor of social relationships
and social solidarity then a common government or political institutions. In the end he is saying that his
cultural concept of a nation fits very well the history of Polish nation.
