The author of the paper searches for an answer to the question: What are theoretical premises given to a language therapist in the situation of the lack of verbal communication with people suffering from autism, aphasia, and cerebral paralysis? The problems of imparting diagnoses and building effective communication are also considered. As the conclusion the following proposition was submitted: apart from procedures of building or rebuilding verbal communication, a language therapist should make logotherapy one of his/her activity for logotherapy accepts teleological perspective that includes purposes and values. The author used eight assumptions by Kazimierz Popielski to build her therapeutic procedure. The propositions by Georg Moser were also used.
