Poeta wobec uniwersum kultury. O poezji Janusza Szubera

Abstract

The text deals with Janusz Szuber’s poetry, which is located in the context of the contemporary classicism. The poet’s literary output grows out of both the tradition of European poetry and local culture which is close to him (the Sanok land). Frequent references to readings, recurring motives and topoi create a complex system of mirrors reflecting the contemporary artist’s walls of awareness. The sphere of personal emotions is reduced for the benefit of what is an objective experience and what can be described with universal symbols.
