Abstract

The fragment of discussion mentioned in the title of the essay was concerned with some minute questions: the evaluation in culture, the selection of cultural values in the didactic actions of the teachers of Polish, tradition and contemporarity in the teaching of literature, and the ways of the using of iconosphere in the didactic process. The disputants stated that the professional qualifications of the graduates of Polish Philology were insufficient. The necessity of the systematization of the range of subject matter in the teaching of Polish in university education has been postulated.
