Metoda porządku fizyczno-moralnego Hugona Kołłątaja

Abstract

The work deals with the idea of physical and moral order by Hugo Kollataj, which was applied to his ethical considerations (moral philosophy). The conception assumes existence of a certain universal order and common rules governing the whole of reality including the reality of human beings. He thought that there are close links between knowledge of nature and the humanities and moral philosophy. Hence, according to Kollataj, physical laws lead to laws of social life. On such basis it was possible for him to construct pure ethics which establishes norms of unconventional nature.
