An attempt to present an importance of disjunctive tectonics in the roof of Jurassic deposits in the southern part
of Wieluń upland, in Pagóry Kłobuckie and Obniżenie Pankówki (K. Klimek 1966) has been undertaken on the bases of
analysis of 167 profiles. In spite of the fact that there have been stated tectonic disturbances in monoclinal
layers (Z. Mossoczy 1963, M. Szubert 1988) an idea of structural origin of relief has been presented in
geographical literature and the main elements of it are: structural-denudadive upper Jurassic scarps and
subsequent valley of the upper Warta.
The carried out studies did not prove the existence of typical forms. Small hummocks, depressions and horsts are
the main features of buried landscape. There have not been stated close relations between lithology and landscape
so it causes the conclusions that resistance of rooks which build the base was not the main factor influencing
relief development in the Neogene. There is a relation between the pattern of disjunctive tectonics structure and
found forms of relief. Hills are horsts changed by denudative processes and course of them was connected with
lithology. The course of depressions is connected with the course of faults.
The searched landscape was called tectonic-denudative (polygenic). Numerous examples of relief inversion to
tectonics of the base point out some breaks of fluvial processes caused by some endogenic factors so the
conclusion is that it is also polycyclic relief.
