dc.description.abstract | Precambrian and Tertiary rocks of Adelaide surroundings underwent step-like dislocations in the Pliocene-
Pleistocene. They caused creation of half horsts and half tectonic troughs. The most clear is Eden-Burnside horst
and the town buildings reach its foothills. In front of the face of the horst there are joined alluvial cones
which have their beginning in fault zones, as young tectonics disturbed longitudinal river profiles. | en_EN |
