Rola "szkoły pracy" w kształceniu technicznym

Abstract

Technical education is often marginalized when it comes to a discussion about the evolution of education in Poland. This may cause anxiety. The presence of technical education in teaching programmes will allow pupils to get familiar with modem technological solutions, systematize the basics of pupils’ technical knowledge, and help them to make more conscious choices as regards their further educational paths. The initiative to take care of the perspectives of technical education should also include its historical conditioning. In this article, an attempt to present the main principles of ‘school of work’, its historical conditioning and theoretical basis is undertaken.
