The quality of rainfall is determined by many parameters. Generally, these parameters can be divided into four
groups. To the first group we can include parameters associated to antropogenic activity. The parameters of second
group are connected to meteorological conditions. In the third group there are parameters related to physical
properties such as adsorption and absorption of gases (ions) on the surface of rain drops (what influence surface
tension and, in consequence, dimensions of drops), rainfall and air temperature, degree of dissociation, ionic
mobility. In the last group there are parameters related to natural processes e.g. volcano eruption and carbon
dioxide concentration produced in respiration process. The aim of presented research was investigation of
dependence between electrical conductivity and temperature of rainfall water. Results point on fact that increase
of rainfall temperature cause increase of rainfall water conductivity. Decrease of rainfall water temperature is
associated with decrease of its electrical conductivity.
