| dc.description.abstract | Civil society is a specific form of society. It is characterized by a high degree of collective self-awareness which is divided into
cognitive and normative self-awareness. The role of civic self-consciousness is significant in this type of society. It is a public
sphere and can be considered as citizens, as exercised by the regulatory functions to the economy and the state. In the article, I
would like to present the history of the civil society in Germany. On the basis of the views of German artists of civil society, the
