The article is devoted to the reference of personal pronouns я, ты, вы and the ways of realization
of their aesthetic functions in Pushkin’s discourse. The theoretical base of the research
is grounded on the works of B.A. Larin, R.O. Jacobson, E.V. Paducheva, N.D. Arutyunova,
T.I. Silman and others. The ground of the characteristic of speech parts’ specific is the idea
that pronouns have deictic, anaphoric and referential functions, among which the last one
is the leading one and it acts as common related to the first two functions as partial. The
concept point to reveal the aesthetical potential of personal pronouns is the interaction of
the semantics and syntagmatics of the grammatical class of the words researched. There are
types of references for the pronoun Я (direct and indirect, common-poetic, egocentric); ways
to organize dialogues with different referents-addressees for the pronouns ты, вы (open,
imaginary, mono-dialogue); system of the semantic oppositions ты – я, я – вы, вы - ты, which
poetics is actualized by the row of stylistic figures: repetitions, gradation, antithesis. Being
paradygmatically, syntagmatically and functionally connected, the analyzed pronouns reflect
Pushkin’s cultural consciousness and his linguistic map of the world.
