dc.description.abstract | The changes which are taking place in field of civil defence course are connected not only with
the change of the name of the subject into ‘education for safety’, but also with controversy
regarding the content, method and organization of the teaching process. Teachers have been
facing similar problems for several years.
In 1967 W. Okoń stood up to teachers' needs and on the basis of four historically known
pillars developed a completely new concept.
Although the theory of multilevel education was created 40 years ago, its assumptions are
still actual and used by teachers. According to the author of the concept, the harmonious
integration of right and left hemisphere of pupils’ brains, based on their intellectual, emotional
and practical activity, influences the effectiveness of teaching.
Nowadays the teachers of civil defence course are facing a difficult task of transferring
the assumptions of multilevel education to the grounds of contemporary school where
computerization is seen more and more often. | en |
