dc.description.abstractThe article concerns the phenomena connected with the Pick theory and its generalizations. It is divided into two parts. The first one includes the reflection on the part of research, during which a group of students was solving maths tasks based on the Pick theory. In the second part of the article we present our conclusions as to the Pick theory and its generalizations. We present here tasks and problems which can become a basis for constructing sets of tasks that will enable pupils to improve their mathematical knowledge and skills.en
