dc.description.abstract	The article concerns two Polish translations of the novel Momo by Michael Ende, a classic of twentieth-century children’s literature, by Teresa Jętkiewicz (1978) and by Ryszard Wojnakowski (2018). In his analysis, the author compares the translating techniques used by the translators with reference to the stylistic devices employed by the writer. The main aim of the article is to answer the following questions: what stylistic devices were used by the translators, and to what extent do they correspond to those found in the original?	en
