| dc.description.abstract | The author of this paper presents a new curriculum for teaching children at the age of six in the context of
announced educational reform. The necessity of a radical reform of the teaching method in the first to third forms
was proved. The curriculum was based on the simultaneous and sequential method of teaching reading and its
