dc.description.abstractThe author presents the important role of careful, comlex and diversified observation of Polish students in the area of the correct articulation of sibilant consonants. Such supervision is particularly needed at the begining of their education. She recommends using exercices on sibilant sounds as a method and highlights their implication in the early diagnosis and treatment of articulatory troubles. She underlines the consequences and interdependence of such troubles in the aquisition of communication skills, oral expression and correct spelling.en
