dc.description.abstractLeaflets published on the occasion of performances staged by secondary school teachers are the proof of the existence of the 17th- and 18th-century school theatre. Among few preserved programmes, there are those referring to linguistic issues. The plays were filled with this content at various levels: from the plot with grammatical problems as main characters, to a characteristic title associating linguistic correctness or grammar subjects with figurative meaning referring to religious essence.en
