Abstract

The papers presented in the current volume discuss current problems of theoretical linguistics that are crucial to the development of these fields of science at the beginning of the 21st century. The first part of the volume is devoted to translation and translator training. This part is a bridge between the articles in the field of applied linguistics that open this monograph, and the more theoretical papers that close it. The second part of the volume is strictly theoretical, and includes papers in the area of pragmatics, morphology, phonology, and syntax.
