The process of acquiring language skills in ontogeny lasts several years and is gradual, starting from simple elements and structures to more complicated ones. The first language experiences are very important to children, in their further language development and successes in their education. In contemporary times, the conditions of language development are changing, mostly because of social and civilization changes. Author of the article tackles the topic of the negative impact of digital media on children‚ language development.
